Teamsters honor Women’s History Month
Mar. 2, 2026 | The International Brotherhood of Teamsters is proud to celebrate March as Women’s History Month as we honor the sacrifices and achievements of women in our union and our nation. Since our founding in 1903, women have played a crucial role in the Teamsters Union's growth and success, and in the broader labor movement. Women labor leaders participated in the very first Teamsters convention and, since then, have led the Teamsters Union to the forefront of fighting for gender equality in the workplace and society.

UPS admits driver buyouts violate Central Region contract
Mar. 24, 2026 | United Parcel Service (UPS) notified the International Brotherhood of Teamsters on Tuesday that it was withdrawing its latest driver buyout scheme in Central Region states after nearly 37 local unions filed grievances against the parcel giant for shamelessly violating the UPS Teamsters contract. This action will greatly undermine the company’s illegal pursuit of buyouts in other regions under the National Master Agreement…. “By pulling out of more than a dozen states, UPS has conceded that its buyout programs are illegal. They are scams designed to fuel corporate greed. These programs violate the Teamsters contract, and UPS knows it,” said Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien. Learn more
